According to the latest MLS data, the dramatic increase San Diego County home
prices have seen over the last two years may be coming to an end. The median price of all homes sold in
the County during
July 2014 decreased to $457,000 from the previous month of $460,000. Also,
the number of homes sold dropped from 3,069 in June to 2,866 in July.
According to some economists, we may be moving from a seller's market to a
balanced market that favors neither buyers or sellers. The inventory of
homes for sale has improved. Last year at this time the number of San
Diego County homes for sale was 5,660. This year it has risen to 8,489.
If you're curious about what your home might sell
for in the current market and how much you would net
after closing costs, I would be happy to provide you
with a complementary analysis, without cost or obligation.
